Calc lets you work out a production chain without a world. Our latest local changes also bring shared production, Plan recipes and 139 production examples.

## One iron supply for several production lines

Adding iron plates and then iron rods should not leave you with two separate iron supplies. The Magic Wand now plans unchanged, automatically generated chains together. It combines shared intermediate production and distributes solid items through load balancers. If resource limits require more than one recipe for the same item, that mix remains available.

The recipe choice follows your optimization setting: weighted raw material use, machine count or power. We corrected a case where a secondary preference could outweigh that main goal. Recipe blocks take priority, and the calculation accounts for supplies and resource use elsewhere in the factory, including modules. Machine-count optimization still uses fractional machines at the chosen clock rates; it does not minimize the rounded number of buildings you would place in the game.

We also checked the rest of the planner. Byproducts and their processing remain in generated chains, and unserved automatic machines take their downstream demand into account. Merging machines now preserves numbered connections and rejects incompatible Somersloop configurations. These details matter when a plan grows beyond a single straight line.

Manually edited chains stay protected. Older chains without the new automatic-generation record also remain as they are, so the wand cannot silently replace work it cannot safely identify.

## Choose recipes without leaving the plan

Recipes now have their own button and drawer beside Factory Config. The recipe list shows what your world has unlocked. A second checkbox lets you allow a still-locked alternate recipe as a **Plan recipe** for this factory. You can work out the future production line without changing the world's research progress.

A factory that uses locked recipes receives a **Plan** badge with a warning symbol in the world's factory list. Its tooltip tells you how many recipes still need to be unlocked before you can build that plan.

Factory Config also includes Simulate inputs, Free/Grid and grid size. The toolbar controls remain available, so you can make those adjustments from either place.

## Production chains to browse from the wiki

We have prepared **139 factories** for the public **Production-Lines** world, one for each automatically manufacturable item. They use simulated inputs, and we have checked that every graph delivers its target quantity. Items without automated production are outside this collection.

In the local version, the corresponding wiki item pages link directly to their example factories. Public example worlds appear separately below your own worlds. The homepage offers two cards with short descriptions: **Perfect World** opens the demo map, while **Production-Lines** opens its factory list. Opening the Production-Lines map brings up a notice explaining that its factories are simulated and linking to the demo world.

The collection and its links are implemented locally. Browser checks and publication are still ahead, so these examples are not yet available on the live site.

## Calc: try a production plan without a world

With **Calc**, you can work out a production chain without creating a world or signing in. Set a target of **30 Computers per minute**, for example, and Calc finds a resource-efficient chain using the recipes you have enabled. The compact SatisfactoryBase graph shows how materials flow between the steps, with whole machines and automatically adjusted clock rates.

The settings are split into **Production, Input, Recipes and Machines**. Recipe tabs filter the list to all, default or alternate recipes. Checkboxes control individual recipes, while one switch enables or disables all alternates. That makes it easy to compare your usual recipe set with another option.

Independent tabs keep your calculations in the browser. You can rename, duplicate or delete them, import and export them, or save them to your account. **Create Factory** transfers a calculation into a world when you are ready to continue planning there. Account saves detect conflicting changes before overwriting another version.

For exactly one target item, its name and icon appear automatically in both the tab and the header. A name you set yourself stays in place. We have also adjusted the layout for phones, so the controls remain usable on a narrow screen.

Calc is now available. Open [Calc](/calc) to start a calculation.

## Shorter paths through the site

The navigation now puts Home, Planner, Map, World, Calc and Wiki together. Blueprints and Tools sit under More. We also corrected the dropdown arrow and the alignment of the read-only indicator, making the current context easier to read.

## A tidier blueprint view

We have brought the blueprint's 3D view into a contained column below its tabs. On wide screens, it now stays within the same readable area as the surrounding content.

## What we are working on

We are building an MCP connection so you can work with your worlds through a compatible AI assistant. You choose whether to connect it, and it can access only worlds shared with it where you are a member. Local tests cover connecting with your consent and the first operations on factory details.

Editing production graphs, logistics and trains is still ahead, along with testing how access is revoked and completing the security review. The connection is not ready for general use yet.
