What's new
The last few days were exciting. So many of you signed up, planned factories and browsed the wiki that the servers we used until now, with the database at Neon and the application with other providers, quickly reached their limits.
We have moved everything. The databases and the application servers now run together on a new cluster. For you nothing changes: your worlds, factories, blueprints and comments came along, and the address stays the same.
SatisfactoryBase is now part of Skullrock Gaming
SatisfactoryBase now officially belongs to Skullrock Gaming. You will see the Skullrock Gaming logo in the footer and on the About page, and the imprint names the publisher. Marco stays on board and remains the person responsible for the site. For you nothing changes: the tools stay free, and your worlds and account stay where they are.
The About page also has a new "Advertising & partners" section. If you want to advertise here or work with us, enquiries now go directly to Skullrock Gaming.
What we're working on
In the coming days we will keep a close eye on the new setup and tune it where it needs it. If a page feels slow or something no longer works the way it did before the move, please report it through the bug button in the app.
Why we changed it
The previous setup was fine for a small beta. With the number of players we see now, the database and the application were spread across several providers and each hit its own limit at a different time. Having everything on one cluster gives us more capacity, and the database and the application now sit right next to each other. We want to keep giving you the best support we can, and this move is part of that.
