Model and assumptions
One train visits one loading and one unloading station per cycle. Each platform pauses its connections for 27.08 seconds per visit. A car holds 32 stacks or 2 400 m³. Use departure-to-departure time, including both stops and any waiting.
Use the slower connection rate and count of the loading and unloading platforms. The result assumes sufficient buffers, continuous supply and consumption, and equally distributed cargo across the cars. Each platform is available for cycle time minus one docking pause.
This estimates steady throughput, not signal behavior or travel time. More cars can change the measured cycle. Remeasure after changing the train; shared platforms, extra stops and multiple trains require a separate schedule model.
